So, last week, I volunteered for the Buick Open with Katie and the group we're a part of. It was fun - We got t-shirts and a free ticket. Well, today, as a thank-you, the two chaperones (Cassandra and Scott, workers at Traverse Place [where we hold our meetings for the volunteer group]) took us out to lunch and ice cream at DQ. That was supposed to be it. But, Scott knew the guy who owned the Dairy Queen we went to, and he somehow aquired free pre-showing passes to a showing of Accepted tonight, a movie that isn't even out until the 18th. So, Katie and I took the tickets and we got her grandma (and her friend) to take us. At the theatre, they gave us free stuff to begin with, like posters and stuff. But, before the movie started, representatives from CK 105 and NBC25 were there asking questions for prizes. I answered a trivia question about the CW (the new network that will combine UPN and the CW) and won a free DVD of That 70's Show. It was a good movie as well, so I recommend you see it when it comes out. So, a two hour lunch date turned into a ten hour extravaganza, but I had a wonderful day with a wonderful person.

I got my hair cut, yesterday. That would be the result.
It turns out that my grandmother has cancer in her uterus. Her doctor feels that once they remove the uterus, the cancer (which appears to be self-contained) will come with it, so that's definitely good news. I'm feeling much better about that.
Also, I am officially announcing plans for my third CD. Everything like the release date and title is unknown. However, the first track for the CD has been recorded, a cover of Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors." In a Chad Mosher, exclusive, you can listen to the full track below.

My mother received a phone call moments ago informing us that my grandmother living in Arizona, the one who visited us last summer, has been diagnosed with cancer. I don't know what kind, nor do I care to find out at this point in time.

Aww. As some of you know, one of my great friends Sarah moved away to Texas last year. Well, this summer, she's supposed to come visit Michigan. The thing is that she hasn't told any of her friends if she's here or not or when she'll be here. But, I had a dream last night/this morning that we were doing school registrations or picture registrations or something. And I guess she came to visit me for a while and then she went over with Heather Allen and Emily Fairchild for a bit, too. I never realized how much I miss her, but I guess my dreams are telling me.

Happy Independence Day everyone! Life has been pretty lax lately, consisting of TV, computer and billiards. Yesterday, I went to my friend Kaisee's aunts house, swam for a while, watched WWE RAW, then swam some more. I didn't get home 'til nearly one, so it was a good time. She's pretty cool. I think I've got a YAB meeting next Friday, so that'll be cool. Until next time, kids..

I had a good weekend. Friday, I went to Audrianna's party, which had Courtney DePottey, Allysyn (Allen) Brownfield, Katie Ames and myself. We did the following things (in order): Sat around talking, played Scattergories, then played Charades (inside AND outside), then we played poker. We called no less than three pizza places afterwards, were accused of placing a false order (due to laughter in the background), and almost had our pizza delivered to the wrong address. We ate, then we played Match Game '75 and Password multiple times. We played a combination game of Beat the Crap out of Chad and Don't Break Anything, which Courtney won. 7:00 rolled around and then it was time for Katie's mom to pick us up. It was a wonderful night, I'll say. I apologize if the preceding paragraph was incoherent. =)
Then on Sunday afternoon, I went to Kaisee's house and I wrestled her, her friend Amber and Amber's little brother Drew. Needless to say, I won the majority of the matches. Go me and my power.

Okay, so it has come to my attention that I have neglected this poor baby. Let's see what has happened in the month that I haven't updated.. Consider this a mix of Random Thoughts and life recap.
- I volunteered for the Special Olympics. Definitely one of the best things I've done in a while. It was a heart-warming, eye-opening experience.
- I joined the Youth Advisory Board, an inner-city volunteer group that Katie is part of. She asked if I would like to join and I did grudgingly at first, but it's looks to be a great thing. We just need more people. I think the next meeting is tomorrow, but I'm not sure.
- School was let out June 8th. I passed all of my classes and exams, so I shall be a junior next year. It's scary, honestly. I don't wanna grow up. =\
- Evanescence announced they're releasing their second mainstream album in October. Expect an Evanescence layout come August.
- My friend Audrianna is throwing a small party for her birthday. I'm fairly certain I'll be attending.
- I'll be going to Kaisee's house Saturday. I'll be wrestling her and her friend Amber. Rawr.
- Speaking of wrestling, none of you probably care, but I finished the website for the wrestling group I have with my friends and their friends, the mWWE. If you want to know more, leave a comment. (Like you would.) ;)
- My closest online friend whom I've known for four years llet me know that a lot of what I had thought about him were well-thought out lies for reasons other than I. I learned the truth about him, and nothing really changed between us.
- It's been a year and I still can't get over my biggest love. It doesn't hurt as bad as it used to, but I just wish it would end.
- No matter what time I go to bed or how long I sleep, I still wake up feeling tired. That pisses me off.
- I think Cory likes me less than normal right now.. Why, I don't know.
Well, there you go. An update. I'll try to keep this somewhat updated during the summer months. And, now, a question for all of you. What are you planning to do this summer? I'm curious, yo.

Friday was good. Fifth hour was the hour for my lip-sync. So, I lip-synched to "Stupid Girls" along with Kaytie Soderblom, Alicia Howell, Emma Antikainen (sp?) and Mary Kay Foster. I feel we did a really good job and I was extremely proud of everyone. After that, I got permission to attend the lip-sync during sixth hour from Sra. Hidalgo. Instead of sitting down and watching it, I performed a plethora of duties, such as opening/closing the curtain, cleaning the stage, helping with lights, and I announced the last two acts and did the closing spiel. Friday was definitely a really good day.

So, I'd have to say that my week has been pretty good so far. Monday was the release of Revisited, my latest CD adventure. That was definitely an awesome day in terms of sales. I sold more CDs that day than for my sales last year for The Departure of Skies. Remember, $6.00 for the new one, and $10.00 for the new one and the old one. And, then, today, I went to UM Flint to watch the middle school QuizBowl team tape an episode of High School Challenge Jr., and they so kicked Owosso's ass! So, hopefully, Wednesday won't be too much of a letdown.

» I've felt like shit the past two days and it's pretty much ruining my vacation. My body just hurts and my nose and throat are stuffy. Fun.
» We (Cheyenne) got a new puppy Thursday. Her name's Misty. I was apprehensive at first, but she's grown on me.
» I made my MySpace more informative today considering I didn't have the will or inspiration to do anything.
» Tomorrow, if the hot mess of myself decides to feel better, I'm going to attempt to stay up all night.
» There's a fly thingy buzzing around my room and it's bothering me.
» Saved by the Bell is airing on [adult swim] at midnight, and I have to watch it because it's such a crappy show.
» My birthday is in eleven days. Yes, I do accept cash. ;)
